Superior Court is a trial court. If you lose there, you then can appeal to the NC Court of Appeals. This is very complicated and rules specific and if one requirement is missed your appeal could be dismissed without a consideration of the merits. I do not recommend an appeal without an attorney. In any event, you have 30 days from the entry of the judgment in Superior Court to file a notice of appeal. You should review the NC rules of appeallate procedure to see what all must be done and then speak to an attorney when you see how difficult it is.
