Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina

I am a US citizen married to an illegal immigrant from mexico for 8 yrs we have one child 6 yrs old, how do I start the process of making him legal? We live in NC.

You'll want to apply for his lawful permanent residence but he will likely have to return to Mexico to interview at the US consulate in Ciudad Juarez (and probably also file for a waiver).
