Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina
I was misled into registering and voting at the elections without being a citizen. I thought I was performing my civic duty for being in the USA. I applied for citizenship and the INS is querrying why I registered to vote and voted. What should I do?

Hire a lawyer. This is a huge issue and can potentially be referred to the U.S. attorney for prosecution and/or lead to removal proceedings.
