Legal Question in Intellectual Property in North Carolina

Copyright Law and Internet

I am using images from other blogs

and websites on my blog.

Specifically, I am using their images

when referencing their content, so I

am not taking any credit for the

images in question. Links to the

source material and an image credit

are always included in each post.

Is this a violation of copyright law?

Re: Copyright Law and Internet

Yes, using images without permission is copyright infringement. There are exceptions, but no facts given here appear to fall into an exception. Giving credit or referencing the source of the work does not avoid copyright infringement.
