Legal Question in Employment Law in North Carolina

I was fired for ''philosophical differences''

My wife was fired from her job on Wednesday, December 20, for ''philosophical differences.'' Her boss told her that her work had been outstanding but that there were philosophical differences between management and my wife.

There are a lot of details that I could write about, but there just isn't room here. I am writing this because my wife is physically sick, can't sleep and is an emotional wreck. She was making $40,000 a year in her position with an engineering company. We would like to speak with someone about this to see if there is any recourse for the way she has been treated, not just in the firing, but over the past several months. Is there anything that can be done? Thank you.

Re: I was fired for ''philosophical differences''

Unless the "philosophical differences" really meant religious differences, it doesn't sound like a good employment discrimination case. If you are in the Raleigh-Durham area and would like to set up a consultation, please email me privately as to what date and time you and your wife prefer. There is a consultation charge. Best wishes and good luck.
