Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in North Carolina

We are 2 weeks late on rent. Homeowner is trying to move someone in inthree days. Can this be done if we have a lease agreement.

With or without a lease agreement, the landlord is not allowed to move you out until he files for eviction through the Court and gets an order evicting you. If he tries to lock you our or physically remove you, call the police.
