i have received a summons to go to court for not paying my rent on time...how long do i have before being evicted..

Unless you a) pay the rent, or b) get the landlord to give you more time, you will be ordered by the court to be evicted, usually within a week, absent exigent circumstances.

Can you borrow or raise the money for rent?

If not, you could file BKY or ask the LL for an extension. Otherwise, you would have to raise other defenses (breach by landlord etc.)
