Legal Question in Legal Ethics in North Carolina
I was working with a company about helping get a home loan by fixing our credit. He provided us with a false pre approval letter. We went to the bank to file a fraud claim. After several attempts to contact him before we filed the fraud claim. He contacted us after we got our money back, saying he as going to file judgment against us. Should we bother to write him back?

No, this is one of those scam companies. I would report him to the NC Attorney General.
