Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

I tripped and fell as I was exting the bank leaving bruises and abrasions. The bank did an accident report. The next day I was in alot of pain in my shoulder, leg and back. I then went to the er where I was treated with pain meds and muscle relaxers. I will be out of wk and need to see my pcp. I forwarded this info to bank. Their insurance person called and informed me they would take care of my medical expenses only and an investigation would need to b done for anything further. Is this worth pursuing?

I don't know as you don't provde the details. When did the fall occur? What are your medical bills? How badly are you really hurt?

See a personal injury lawyer. This is not my area of law, but you will have to prove more than just that you fell on bank property. What caused you to fall? Accidents happen and if you tripped because of your own negligence, you may not have a case.

This is not my area, but there are tons of slip & fall and personal injury lawyers out there, many of whom even give free consults or case evaluations. A public bulletin board is not the place for it.

We agree with the comments above, you need to meet with a North Carolina personal injury lawyer. There are many factors that affect premises liability cases. Business owners have a responsibility to maintain a safe space. Time may be of the essence for your case due to North Carolina's statute of limitations, which is 3 years from the date of the accident.
