Firm with multiple lawyers

Hi, Can a firm with multiple lawyers represent me and then one of the other lawyers from the same firm represent the person that I am sueing?

If there are circumstances which justify the dual representation, and if a "wall" is built between the two attorneys, it may be ethical. However, I would try to either get another attorney or get the opposing counsel dismissed.
