Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Moved out, cannot get my thigs

I leased a house with my boyfriend and 2 other ocupants..I have since moved out of the house and am trying to get the rest of my things out of the house. Being that I abandoned the property when I moved out 2 months ago, the landlord cannot let me in without one of the occupants being there. I have tried to work with the occupants on getting my things out of the house, they refuse to let me get my things. I went with the cops and they refuse to answer the door. Do I have a case or no?? Any advice would greatly help.

Yes, you may have a case about getting your things back. They have a case too for your abandoning the lease. It may end costing both parties.
