Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

I received a letter stating that Wells Fargo made a mistake on my deed. They did not add the legal description of the property? Should this be a concern legally?

If there is no legal on your deed that is a very huge concern for you.

If Wells Fargo is calling - then I might guess that there is no legal on your deed of trust - that is a huge concern for them and still a concern for you b/c that could mean that the loan they made to you is unsecured - although they would have many legal arguments as to have you sign a new instrument to secure the property. Of course, if you had taken out an equity line since the loan - they would be in a bad position b/c the equity line might take priority over their deed of trust.
