i got a letter saying that my license would be put in indefinite suspension if I didn't pay my fine by march 11. does that mean I wont be able to get my license back?

No. It means what it says, if you don't pay your fine you'll be suspended. Indefinitely just means you'll remain suspended until you comply.

Amanda is correct. The key thing is to try to pay that ticket before the March 11th deadline. If you don't, (1) your license will be suspended, (2) the clerk of court will add on an extra "late" fee, and (3) you will have to pay a reinstatement fee to DMV before your license will be reactivated.
