Reckless Driving,Prayer for Judgement

I am from Virginia, and was received a ticket for going 79 in a 55. I was wondering if I should try and get a Prayer for Judgment.... is it still available to me since I am a Virginia resident? The officer told me that on the day of court I should see him and he would go and try and ask the DA to lower the violation. What should I do?

No such thing as prayer for judgment in va only in nc. However depending on your record and if you have gone previously you may be able to go to traffic school and have the charge dismissed.
