Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

I did not sign my speeding ticket

I was issued a speeding ticket in Cary, NC. The ticket was for 90 in a 65. I did not sign the ticket. Is it required by law that you sign a ticket issued my an officer? Is it possible to get this ticket dropped on a technicality?

sorry. this doesn't get you off the hook. You'll need to deal with the ticket.

no.

if you have a clean record (no tickets in the last three years), I would ask for a reduction to 74 in a 65 - it won't have insurance consequences provided your record is clean. Don't know if they'll reduce it given the speed you were going.
