Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

My first speeding ticket can I use PJC

I recently recieved my first speeding ticket for going 64 in a 45. The officer said that I can use a prayer for judgement since it was my first ticket but I've been reading that it applies to your household and not individually. My husband receved a ticket in Raleigh earlier this year and used a PJC. Does that mean that I cannot use one now for my ticket?

Depending on the county, you may be eligible for a non moving violation. If not, a reduction to 54 in a 45 will not have insurance consequences if it is your only ticket in a 3 year period.
