Can you evict a person from their home if they are part owners of the house?

No. The remedy if the owners cannot agree is partition. Generally, one owner has to buy out the share of the other owner. If none of the owners is willing or able to do that, then you can go to court to ask the court to sell the property and divide the money among the owners, less costs of sale.

I am assuming that the land is in NC. I am only licensed in NC, GA & PA. However, most states have similar partition rules. I suggest you speak to a real estate litigation attorney in the county/state where the land is located and ask about partition.
