Can a living trust in NC appoint agents on behalf of the living trust?

I don't exactly know to what you are referring or why a trustee would need to appoint an agent for the trust. The trustee can hire professionals to assist him or her in administering the trust like CPAs or attorneys.

Start by reading the trust document and see what it says, if anything, about the appointment of agents. There really is nothing in the trust code.
