Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

Named Beneficiay

I was recently sent an email stating that I was named beneficiary to a will of a person that I have nevr met. The legal dept in charge of the will has contacted me over the phone and are asking for personal information,ex. Bank info. They have sent me copies of the will and deposition, but again are only copies and could be forged or made up. What should I do? They are telling me that it is imparitive to respiond to this quickly so that I may retain my financial hold on the money. Is this a scam? How can I find out if its true or not, and if it is real what should I do?

Info that they have requested-Affidavite of oat;and this is the email----

Re: Named Beneficiay

Do not respond to this, as this is a scam. There are any number of emails that circulate everyday with this same typs of facts. Do not give them any information or you will be sorry.
