Property disbursement after death
If a husband and wife share title to real property and the husband dies does the property automatically go to the wife or does it have to be shared with the adult children when there is no will to verify its disbursement

Depends on how it is titled. In most cases, it will go directly to the spouse in NC unless it is titled as "tenants in common" or some other method that disclaims the tenancy by the entirety that is normally formed.
