Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina
My sister passes away in 2005, I found out after the funeral that she had no insurance of any kind. I have tried to pay on the $7500 bill, I still owe 5100. It is 2010. I was told by the clerk of court that she could have me arrested until the bill was paid. I now have until January. What can I do? I am 59 years old and I don't want to go to jail.
