Not Being Paid For Work

since december of last year i have been getting shorted on my pay checks can i sue for wages owed as well as mental anguish or undue hard ships? also when i confronted my boss he would get mad and yell at me and this time he fired me is there any legal action i can take?

You need to contact the Wage & Hour Division of the NC Department of Labor. You also need to contact the WORD Division of the NC Department of Labor. Several state laws, as well as federal, may have been broken under these circumstances. W&H= (919) 807 2801 and WORD= 807-2825. I would contact them ASAP, as there may be strict time deadlines (180 days or shorter) applicable to your case. Also, contact a good employment lawyer for further information.
