Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

How do I know if I can win an appeal?

I fell at work and sprained my wrist.I was fired from my job tow months later. I filed a law siute and won all the way up to the The North Carolina Industrial Commission. My attorney said she wasn't going to appeal it because it became to political. I am several thousand dollars in debt because of medical bills, I have RSD and carpel tunnel syndrome, there are several nerves damaged in my neck and arm. And now it has become to political. Do I have a chance for an appeal? Thank-you

I can't tell you the chances you will win on appeal without knowing every little detail of your case. I can tell you that the majority of NC Industrial Commission decisions, whether by a Deputy Commissioner or by the full Commission, do not get overturned on appeal.

My best advice would be to find another lawyer to handle your appeal. Act quickly because there are strict time limits. This is not something you should try on your own.
