Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

I've been on work comp since Oct of '13. Is the company I work for still obligated to pay me my vacation pay?

They do not owe vacation pay or other benefits like health insurance while you are out on workers' compensation temporary total disability (TTD). The weekly TTD checks are not taxable. Be SURE they include bonuses and overtime in calculating your average weekly wage (AWW). You can ask for a Form 22 to verify the calculation. To compute your correct TTD benefit, multiply the AWW by .6667. For more tips and reminders, go to Http://www.ncworkcomp.com Good luck, George
