Legal Question in Family Law in North Dakota

Child Livng Arrangements

I am a divorced woman with a child; it's joint custody with myself having sole physical custody. One year ago, I tried making it work out with my ex-husband and we all moved in together. A year later, I am realizing that it will not work out what-so-ever. I am planning on moving out in the summer (during summer vacation, so my son will not miss school)

Does my ex-husband have any grounds to take away my son? or, should I say any rights to just say I can't take him with me. I will be moving 20 miles away from where we live right now.

Please help.

Re: Child Livng Arrangements

The final order will still prevail. You will still have sole physical custody of the minor child until he petitions the courts for a change of custody. Feel free to consult my office for further consultation.
