Legal Question in Family Law in North Dakota

''father''

Hi, when i was born my mother gave me to my aunt and uncle. I was never legally adopted. She died when i was three. My birth father's name was not on the birth certificate. I am 18 and and know who he is. Is there a way he can sign my birth certificate without proof? I am 18 and acknowledging he is my father. He is acknowledging he is my father. Is that enough? Can he sign my birth certificate?

Re: ''father''

I am not sure about your request, but you could have your father adopt you. That would have the same effect. Adult adoptions are not very complicated.
