Do I abstain from voting for wage and hour issues?
As a Township Trustee am I required to abstain from voting in reference to issues ( i.e. monetary ) of the Township Emergency Services (Firefighters/EMTs) of which my sibling is an employee.

Should abstain.
I am not an Ohio atty, but generally, I believe you shouldabstain certainly if local or state law would deem yourvote a conflict of interest. If not, you probably should soas to avoid the appearance of impropriety.
