Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio

I filed for bankruptcy a year ago and one of my debts was discharged but I used my car, which is now worth under $500, and paid off, as collateral. Citifinancial has the title to the car. How can get the title to the car back?<

I am sorry, I'm not clear on what you used your vehicle for collateral. Did you use your car as collateral for a loan that was discharged in your bankruptcy?

If you used the car as collateral for a loan that was included in your bankruptcy, you should have filed a "Statement of Intent" with your bankruptcy petition that indicated what you wanted to do with that secured loan. If you paid off that loan in full, once paid, you should obtain the title from the secured lender.
