i filled bankruptcy chapter 7 in 12-07 how long do i have to wait to be able to apply for a loan or credit card. i got turned down for a 2000 personal loan

The issue isn't time, but your score. There are things you can do to boost your score and working with a credit score consultant may be your best bet if you're having trouble so long after you filed.
