Private party used car.
I went to buy a car from a women and took it for a test drive; for their protection, I gave them half of the amount 400.00 and filled out a paper reciept and still owed 400.00 i drove up the highway and the car engine was cracked I made it 10 miles when i went back to them they would not answer the phone or the door. Now they are saying its mine and my 400 is gone! what are my rights? the car is still in her name and i dont want it, and i want my money!
