Death of Husband

My husband passed away and has left a considerable amount of debt behind. My question ; am I legally responsible for any of these accounts my name does not appear on? I did not even know he had them!

His estate is responsible to the limit of his assets. If his assets and personal property are exhausted, then you get nothing.
