Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
my boyfriend was arrested for having 2oz of marijuana and a marijuana scale. he was charged with possesion with intent to sell. This is his first time being arrested for any drug related charges and has only been arested one other time for domestic violence. due to our financial issues we can not afford our own attorney and he will have to get a court appointed lawyer. "what will most likely happen to him?"

The prior DV makes prison a real possibility. What were the facts of that? Two ounces looks like he was selling, and of course, the scale clinches it....was there residue on the scale? Did they do a buy?
How many times do the police think he did this?
