How many a case can be contiued by the state

The state of ohio do not have any evidence how many contiuence are allowed to the state to find evidence and are they able to hold in incarceration while they search for evidence.

There is definately a time limit for the State to proceed. The speedy trial provisions of the constitution have been codified and depending on the crime, the Statte only has so much time to try the Defendant

Without knowing what the crime involved here is, i cannot tell you how long the state has to try this case. If the person is in jail he absolutely has a certain number of days to go to trial. If the state is getting continuances, this is the judge's decision, and this person's attorney should be establishing a record of objecting to this delay.
