Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
A few explanations surrounding Minor misdemeanor citation" (Crim. R. 4.1) - disorderly conduct in Ohio - I have been issued a ticket and there is opportunity to pay it off online at municipal court.
Will paying off the ticket result in a criminal record, or not? This implies it won't appear on a criminal background check.
2. Is this category eligible for expungement after six months?

Traffic tickets cannot be expunged in Ohio with only a few exceptions, such as where the ticket was dismissed, or if the ticket was part of some other chain of events where another charge was dismissed, the Court might to that. But as a general rule, you can't expunge a traffic citation.
