How long does an inmate have to sit in jail before they get their 1st hearing?

My husband is sitting int he Lorain County Jail. He--name removed--been there for 5 days so far without having a hearing. He was picked up on warrents out of VA and is waiting for an Extradition hearing. How long does he have to wait? Is there a set time before they have to let him go?

If they picked up on a separate crime, he needs to be indicted or arraigned very soon. If it's just for the warrants, they can hold him until he is transferred to WV.
