Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Marijuana charges 2925 11 A 3A

This has been condenced.

M pulled out and lit a marijuana cigarette that she had purchased at the concert.I asked her what she was doing and took her cigarette lighter from her. M offered the joint to an officer. And told her she was under arrest. He told me he observed me passing the marijuana back and forth. He search me by putting his hands and my pockets. But after pleading not guilty, having a drug test, and a pretrial hearing with an attorney, the cases to be heard next month. I am forty-eight years old and a business owner, private pilot, and hold a liquor license and I do not smoke marijuana or do drugs.M went before the magistrate this week, her charges were dismissed. She did not have an attorney. my questions are: What recourse do I have to recoup my expenses? I've been told that because I am challenging an officers word, at best I only have a 40 percent chance of winning. All I wanted was to have the charges dismissed. But at this point I think I need to be asking for more. Is anyone out there interested in pursuing this case with me?
