Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Last night I was arrested for criminal misconduct in Ohio. I and some friends found a golf cart on our college campus and all you had to do was push the gas pedal and it went. We didnt hotwire it or anything of the sort and it was sitting in a public area. We drove it around on the sidewalk and then the police pulled up. Placed me under arrest and put me in the back of the car. This was on a college campus and for some reason it was just sitting in the open. I am just curious if anyone would know how likely it is that the prosecutor will care about this case? I have no previous record at all but a traffic ticket and i have never, ever broken the law. Thanks for the help!!!

It depends on the prosecutor. What is likely is that the prosecutor expects you to plead guilty and pay the fine and maybe do some time in jail. Do you have an attorney? If not I should be able to represent you.
