Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Repetive Car Vandalism - Without solid evidence

I recently bought a 99 BMW. The exterior was nearly perfect condition, (paint, wind shield and parts). In the past, my cars were vandalized repetitively by my younger step brother i.e. (keying, rocks, pellet guns). He has been known for terrorizing and breaking everything all of his life small animals, toys, walls, but especially cars. No one has done anything to teach him, so he continues to destroy everything. So since I purchased my car, he has once again done everything in his power to ruin it. I have had this car a week, and I'm sure by now he's done at least $3000 in paint damages alone. I cannot prove that he has done these things, but yet he still continues to do them. I would like to press charges, but have no solid proof that he has vandalized my car to the nth degree. He is 18 years old. I am 21. What should I do ????? Please Help!!!

Thank You!

You're going to need proof - you don't have it yet!

Sounds like he needs a good yard beating!

Seriously though, file charges against him at the police station. Does he have a record of this activity, particularly against you? ...or anyone else? Do everything you can to catch him in the act, whether it is against you or anyone else for that matter. Then report him to the police.
