Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
sex offender registration
my boyfriend was convicted of rape and served three years. The day after he got out, the put out a warrant for his arrest. The charges was "manner of registering" and "tampering with records". The judge gave him another three years. Is there anything under the state law that i can do to help him?

yes, hire an experienced criminal lawyer. when he left the prison he had so many days to register and it sounds like it was somehow violated
