Is the employer allowed to ask you about your health? Also, whether you have ever filed bankruptcy?

At the time of initial interview the employer's right to ask about your health is very very limited. If you are requesting medical leave the employer can ask for confirmation but must keep the information learned confidential. Employers can run credit checks on employee, but only with the knowledge of the employee.
