Legal Question in Elder Law in Ohio

My 85 year old father let a women (friend) stay with him for 30 days (while her rental was getting ready) even though she has a rental property she now says my dad can not stay by his self she claims his health is not good (my dad seems fine and his daughter lives 6 doors down ) can she claims squatters rights ....she has a crim record

No, she has no rights to make decisions regarding your father unless your father has given her power of attorney to make healthcare or financial decisions for him. If you feel your father needs assistance in making these types of decisions and he is competent you should have a discussion with him regarding having him execute a power of attorney to a family member who he trusts and is more suitable to make decisions for him. If he is not competent, you can seek a guardianship of him through the probate court in the county he resides.
