13yr old refusing to visit father

My ex has not had the kids over for visits in almost a year. He sent a letter to the courts stating his wishes not to have visitation at this time. we went to court and i got full custody and there are no longer any scheduled visitation.

My ex and i have 3 kids. the younger two have no problem with seeing their father but the oldest is refusing to go stating that he has not wanted anything to do with her otherwise so why now.

She is a very angry child when it comes to her father and i do not want to make her angry with me also if i tell her she has to go.

Can i legally not send her to her fathers?

I have written and asked ex to seek counselling for her and him and for him to spend some time with her to try to resolve some issues between the two of them but he is not interested.

In Summit County, the standard order of visitation states the visitation with a 14 year old child is encouraged, but no forced on the child. Further, since there is no order for visitation, there is no compulsion to force visitation. If you force visitation, it will merely serve to make the situation more strained between father and daughter and possibly you.
