Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Absent father

My sons father has not showed up to sign the birth certificate or for the genetic testing. We now have to appear in juvenille court and I'm worried he will once again be a no show. He has some other pending cases and I wondered if the cases can somehow be linked together. Also I'm not sure if I even have the right mailing address for him, again can he be notified or found through his other pending cases(it's not in the juvenille court system but it's still in OH).

Re: Absent father

If the absent father has other actions pending in the court system, and the cases are not sealed, they are public record. You should be able to review the documents in an attempt to find contact information about the father.
