Re: Bank Accounts of Deseased Estate

Bank Accounts can only be accessed by authorized signers. If the person who died was the sole owner of the account, then next of kin will not be allowed access to the accounts without an order from the Court. If the account had a joint or co-owner or if the account was payable on death to another party, the joint or co-owner will be able to receive the funds.

The paperwork that is necessary in orfer to get a court order depends on who is asking and how much money is in the estate. If you call I can give you more information on what is needed and who has the right or the responsibility to take care the paperwork! No charge or obligation for the confidential call.

Good Luck!
