child custody

i have permanent custody of a minor child in the state of ohio and i am not a blood relative i have had the child since birth the blood grandmother wants the child to live with her and the childs blood brother now and the child really likes it and wants to live there to can i write up a agreement between myself and the grandmother giving her custody of the child and have it notarized would this be legal?

If custody was originally granted through the court, then changing custody should happen throught the court system. This will keep the child more protected and the record straight.

I would not advise you to do this. I would actually retain an attorney and go through the courts in order to make it legal. At this point you are probably thinking, "I cannot afford an attorney."
