Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Child Support

In determining the amount of child support to be paid by obligor, is an inheritance considered as income? Inheritance has been in a savings account and obligor does not have access to it yet. Olbigor will not have access to it until after support hearing. Obligor is 17 years old now and will be 18 years old one day before hearing. Obligor will not have acces to inheritance for about one month after child support hearing. Obligee will try and tell child support enforcement agency of the inheritance and want it to be considered as income. Will this inheritance count as ''income'' in determining the amount of child support?

Re: Child Support

Any interest earned by said account is definitely income, as it is recurring. The principal may or may not be as it is only a singular event.
