Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Child Support Income Cap in Ohio?

Is there an Income cap in the state of Ohio when it comes to Child Support? Meaning, if he makes over $150,000.00 does the income support stop there, or can it go further?

Are there monetary restriction because the non custodial parent makes more than $150,000.00??

I couldn't find the correct answers to my questions unless I was looking in the wrong place. If I missed something, I am truly sorry.

Thank you.

Re: Child Support Income Cap in Ohio?

Check ORC 3119. If the combined income of the parties is over 150K, child support is entirely within the sound discretion of the trial court.
