Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Conflict of Interest??

Hopefully this isnt to confusing. Currently, I have supervised visitations with my daughter. The visitation office is run and operated by Mrs Davis. The office is also shared with Mr Davis (attorney & husband of Mrs Davis). Mr Davis is now my wife's attorney. Not to further complicate this.....but when my wife divorced her first husband, Mr Davis represented HIM.

Isn't this a conflict of interest if I am ordered to have supervised visitation in the same office as my wife's lawyer??????? He has unfeathered access to all my records of my visitations since he shares the same office with his wife.

I live in Ohio

This does sound like a conflict of interest and your permission should have been sought prior to the visitation being ordered at this location. You can report this to the Supreme Court of Ohio. Simply go to their website and under Attorney Information there is a place where you can make a report. They will determine if there is an ethical issue or not. I cannot fully say because I do not know all of the facts and they would be able to make that determination for you.

Best of luck.
