custody

im considering moving out of state. the father has only seen my son one time in a year and does not pay child support. can i move out of state without his knowledge?

Depends on what your custody order says. Generally, if there's an order, you can't change the permanent residence of the child without permission of the other party, or order of court. If there is no custody order, you can do as you wish, but be prepared for a custody fight if Dad finds out.
