Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Divorce Laws

My husband and I have only been married for seven months but I am ready for divorce, We had agreed, and I had paid for a dissolusion but he changed his mind at the last minute,Saying that if i wanted a divorce he would make it as hard on me as possible. I have incured numerous debts and lost my credit worthiness due to him being unable to keep a job and being a habitual liar, is there any way that he can be made to pay for the divorce and also be responsible for some of the debt even though the credit cards and such were in my name, all of the debt has been incrued since our marriage, also do I have to wait until the divorce to take back my maiden name?

Re: Divorce Laws

The credit cards are marital debts and he must pay half. Yes you must wait until the final decree to get your maiden name back

Sorry for the bad news.
